  • FAST - A valve and loop combination that rapidly loads and injects the sample.

  • FAA - Flame atomic absorption.
  • CTFE - Ethylene chlorotrifluoroethylene is a fluorocarbon-based polymer, a kind of plastic. ECTFE is used to minimize wear in high-friction applications.
  • PTFE - Polytetrafluoroethylene is a synthetic fluoropolymer of tetrafluoroethylene. PTFE is hydrophobic: neither water nor water-containing substances wet PTFE.
